Annissa Obasi serves as Of Counsel with Anthony | Kennedy, PLLC, a law firm that focuses on the specific legal needs of faith-based organizations, churches, ministries, and clergy throughout the United States. In addition to business development, Ms. Obasi focuses on multiple aspects of church and non-profit organization management including formation, compliance, governance, and litigation/mediation.

Ms. Obasi graduated magna cum laude from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania in 1992 and from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in 1998 where she was a published member of the law review and completed mediation training. She is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas. 

After earning her Juris Doctor and being admitted to the bar, Ms. Obasi worked for over a decade in the private and non-profit sectors in non-legal roles that encompassed recruiting and human resources, organizational and project management, and sales and business development. Her legal experience includes serving as a Dallas County Assistant District Attorney and in private practice. In addition to church and non-profit law, Ms. Obasi has handled juvenile, criminal, estate planning, probate, employment, and general civil law/litigation matters.
